Patriot News, January 14, 2007

                                     WORLD RECORD FISH

ANGLER: Rod Bates

LOCATION: Lake Guri / Venezuela

SPECIES: Peacock Bass

ROD & REEL: Bass Pro Shop Johnny Morris Signature Series 6/6 MH Rod and 2500 Series Reel

LINE: Bass Pro Shop Tourney Tough

These fish were caught while fishing with Roy's Fishing Outfitters in October of 2006.  During a 3 day fishing trip I caught and released World Record fish in the 6#, 10#, 14#, and 20# Line Class.  I had a just miss World Record in the 17# Line Class as well.

I highly recommend Richard Yepez and Roys Fishing Outfitters.
